G2 Esports has announced that Dillon "Rizzo" Rizzo will be leaving the organisation, two months after retiring from competitive Rocket League. After being part of G2 since 2017, Rizzo has achieved plenty of success over his career with the team, netting over $200,000 in prize winning.

G2 has marked the end of Rizzo's career in Rocket League with a video that you can find in the announcement post here, but Rizzo himself also commented on the decision saying, "Officially parting ways with G2 today, so many memories and so many amazing people met. Thank you for everything been nothing but an absolute pleasure".

G2 now needs a third member for its Rocket League team, so we can likely expect to hear an announcement about who will fill Rizzo's slot on the team in the coming weeks.
