Redan tidigare i år sade producenten Chang Han Kim att han ville göra PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds till en spelserie för alla format, och till Invenglobal berättade han att Xbox One-versionen bara var en tidsexklusivitet. Därför är de uppgifter som nu sprids via Reddit ändå inte helt orimliga när denne hävda att PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds inte bara är på väg till Playstation 4, utan även Switch:
"Late this year PUBG will be coming to PS4 once the Xbox Build is Ready to go Gold and in 2019 a port of the new mobile Build of PUBG will be optimized for the Nintendo Switch with Support for Amiibo and will also have Smaller Maps for Local Play up to 16 Players but Full Size Maps will also be Playable Online or with Bots the game will be running at 1080p and Capped at 30 fps with Support for Gyro Aim and HD Rumble (Keep in mind that this is The Mobile Build of the Game with extra Features.)"
Det gäller såklart att ta det med en nypa salt tills vidare, men PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds finns som du kanske redan vet till smartphones i Asien. Playstation 4- och Switch-version är alltså inte helt orimliga.
