It was revealed yesterday on Twitter that Season 5 of the ESL Mobile Open will commence July 11 - 13.
The competition's fifth season invited players across North America to rack up as many points as possible by playing one of four selected competitive titles. The titles chosen for Season 5 were Auto Chess, Asphalt 9, Clash of Clans, and PUBG Mobile. Registration for the competition started March 20 with the playoffs taking place May 18 - June 4.
The event planned to put competing gamers on "the largest esports stages" but this was later adjusted in response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. All events will now take place completely online - this was the case also with the competition's fourth season.
