Seattle Surge drops its active roster

Even the substitute and head coach have left.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 26 augusti 2021

Following a pretty disappointing Call of Duty League season that saw the Seattle Surge place ninth in the overall standings, the organisation is looking to rebuild for the 2022 season, as it has dropped its entire active roster.

Nicholas "Classic" DiCostanzo, Peirce "Gunless" Hillman, Sam "Octane" Larew, Preston "Prestinni" Sanderson, substitute Daniel "Loony" Loza, and head coach Joey "Nubzy" DiGiacomo have all left the team, leading the question as to who will be filling all the slots to be asked.

At the end of a Call of Duty League season, we're quite used to 'rosterpocalypse', a term used to describe the many trades and roster changes between teams, but it does seem like the Surge are going all in this year on rebuilding in the hopes of a more successful season.
