Microsoft har nyligen rullat ut en ny uppdatering för Windows 10, kallad "Anniversary Update" (för att fira operativsystemets 1-ås dag, faktiskt versionsnamn är version 1607), som är tänkt att introducera och förbättra en hel radda funktioner. En sak som tydligen inte har förbättrats verkar vara stödet för Dualshock 4. Då Windows inte har ett inbyggt sådant får spekulanter förlita sig på tredjepartsprogram såsom DS4 och Inputmapper, och det är sistnämndas utvecklare som uppmärksammat problemet (via NeoGAF):
"Windows 10 Version 1607 is in fact NOT compatible with exclusive mode.
Microsoft Windows 10's recent update, version 1607 dubbed the Anniversary Update, will break InputMapper's ability to connect to the controller exclusively which is required by some games.
I have not found a workaround as of yet and it is doubtful that one exists. So until a solution is found, it is important that users needing exclusive mode disable Windows updates temporarily. Det handlar alltså om att det blir problem vid anslutning och tills en ordentlig lösning uppdagas är det avstängning av uppdateringar som gäller.
