Sherlock Holmes-spel slutar säljas digitalt efter dispyt

Om du funderar på att köpa Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment digitalt bör du göra det snabbt. Spelet kommer nämligen tas bort efter ett kontraktsbråk mellan utvecklaren och utgivaren.

Enligt ett uttalande från utvecklaren Frogwares på Twitter vill inte utgivaren Focus Home Interactive ge tillbaka rättigheterna till Frogwares nu när kontraktet löpts ut. Det är inte bara Crimes & Punishment som tas bort. The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes Vs. Jack the Ripper och Magrunner: Dark Pulse har redan tagits bort på Playstation 3 och Xbox 360. Som det ser ut nu kommer Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment tas bort på Sonys och Microsofts onlinebutiken och kanske även Steam den 29:e september.

"Why? Because Focus Home Interactive, the licensee (or "publisher") that was in charge of commercializing these games on these platforms, refuses to transfer the title IDs to us, the creators and IP owners of these titles, even though our Publishing and Distribution Agreement agreement has ended".
