Efter 2012 och lanseringen av PS Vita-titeln Silent Hill: Book of Memories var det tyst om Silent Hill-serien i tolv års tid. Sedan vaknade dock Konami till liv igen och kom på att det ju är kul med TV-spel, och förutom mindre projekt så släpptes remaken Silent Hill 2 år 2024, följt av Silent Hill f året därpå, och senare i år är det dags för Silent Hill: Townfall - med en planerad remake på det första spelet under 2027.
På tal om just Townfall, så avslöjade producenten Motoi Okamoto och director Jon McKellan under ett pressevent nyligen (tack One More Game) att spelet kommer ha fem olika slut, varav två är hemliga. McKellan förklarade hur de tänkt sig upplägget:
"The choices you make as a player throughout will determine the ending, and it should feel that the ending is very appropriate to the experience you had. The goal is for the player to feel like it's the natural conclusion to the story in terms of the way they played."
För att få något av de tre "vanliga" sluten behöver du bara klara spelet, men vill du har något av de två vanliga är det däremot NewGame+ som gäller. Kort sagt, du måste ha spelat igenom äventyret en gång först.
Silent Hill: Townfall släpps till PC och Playstation 5 den 24 september.
