Activision-chefen Eric Hirshberg låter meddela att den färdiga versionen av Destiny inte kommer ha några stora förändringar sedan beta-testerna under sommaren. Hirshberg säger att betan var en stor framgång, att spelet nästan är färdigt och att det som kommer göras som mest är justeringar och balanseringar:
"I would describe this as tweaks and not major changes, as we saw the fundamentals of the game to be very strong. And the good news is because we got 4.6 million players into the beta we were able to test the back-end in scale and it performed really well and stably".
