Årets upplaga av The Game Awards var packat med utannonseringar och överraskningar, och formatet känns allt mer stabilt för varje år som går. Och det verkar ha lönat sig. Nu meddelar producenten och värden Geoff Keighley på Twitter att det slogs rekord med 45 miljoner livestreams.
Det är en ökning med svindlande 73% gentemot förra året, och Keighley skriver:
"Special thanks to our incredible team that helps me bring this show to life, and to everyone in the industry who trusts me to represent our industry. We are on the verge of The Game Awards becoming the biggest celebration of any form of entertainment, a life-long goal of mine."
