The Australian-based esports organisation Chiefs Esports Club has been on a bit of a tear in the Oceanic region as of late. Over the weekend, the team was crowned as Halo Championship Series Melbourne winners, and in the League of Legends Circuit Oceania, similar success has been found.
Following the conclusion of the Split 2 Playoffs in the scene, it has been revealed that Chiefs Esports Club has been crowned as champions here as well, after defeating Pentanet.GG in the grand finals 3-1.
This result has seen Chiefs Esports Club earning the right to attend the Worlds 2022 Play-Ins later this September, where the organisation will be fighting to earn a spot in the World Championships, which will be held shortly afterward.
