Total War: Attila utannonseras

The Creative Assembly har tillkännagivit nästa Total War-spel. Trots envisa rykten om en fristående expansion eller större DLC-kampanj står deras nya spel, Total War: Attila på egna ben och räknas som en helt ny installation i den långlivade serien.

Total War: Attila, som beräknas se dagens ljus någon gång under 2015, låter spelare bevittna Romarrikets splittring och slutgiltiga fall från år 395 e.kr. och framåt, och utlovar bland annat ett förbättrat användargränssnitt, djupare spelmekanik med återinförandet av bland annat familjeträd, religion och hälsa samt katastrofal klimatförändring. Det doftar självklart starkt av Barbarian Invasion, expansionen till det ursprungliga Rome: Total War, men av vad vi fått se hittills verkar Total War: Attila ha gjort sig förtjänt av sin status som fristående inslag i serien.
