Ubisoft har planerat att utöka sina spelstudios till antalet, och tack vare den kanadensiska staten har detta blivit verklighet.
Den nyaste studion är förlagd i Toronto, Kanada, och med det inte så pjåkiga bidraget på 263 miljoner kanadensiska dollar ser spelstudion ljust på framtiden. Det beräknas att, i och med öppnandet av Ubisoft Toronto, 800 nya jobb kommer att kunna skapas under de kommande tio åren.
Studion kommer att börja med sina första projekt sent i år. Vad Toronto-studion kommer att arbeta med är ännu inte utannonserat.
Yves Guillemot, chef för Ubisoft, hade detta att säga om utvidgningen:
