"From the mighty Chevrolet Corvette C7 road car, comes America's greatest Grand Touring race car, the Corvette C7.R GTE. Developed for the Le Mans 24 Hours and endurance sports car racing across the United States, this incredible machine is the latest in a long line of successful cars to wear the famous yellow livery in iconic races around the world. The C7.R won both of its first two North American Endurance Cup races in 2015, including the world-famous Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring. It was also victorious in the GTE Pro class at the Le Mans 24 Hours in the same year. The C7.R's combination of lightweight monocoque chassis, powerful Corvette V8 and Michelin rubber proved to be a perfect match for the top endurance races around the globe.
