Tidigare i år gick Valve ut med att de skulle sluta detaljstyra vad som finns på Steam, med reservationen att det måste vara lagligt och ej trollande. Nu har de dock gjort ett tillslag och börjat rensa tjänsten från "child exploitation".
Enligt Games Industry har ett flertal så kallade visuella noveller plockats bort efter att de innehållit incest och sexuella situationer med folk under 18 år. Alla är dock inte nöjda med detta och Top Hat Studios, som ger ut "Cross Love - Episode 1", skriver på Twitter:
"Hey @steam_games, do you want to explain this one to us? There is nothing in the game which could remotely be seen as having children - there are events in game which literally state the characters' ages as being over 18."
Valve själva skrev såhär i brevet till utvecklaren:
"We will not be able to ship your title, Cross Love - Episode 1 on Steam. While we can ship most titles on Steam, we found this one features themes of child exploitation. Because of that, the app has been banned and cannot be rescued."
Vad tycker du själv om saken, är det bra att Valve plockar bort allt som ens angränsar till detta i grunden horribla ämne eller är de överdrivet nitiska?
