Tyska simjätten Fanatecs gamla ratt CSL Elite McLaren GT3 plockades bort från marknaden kort efter att den introducerades för ett par år sedan, detta eftersom det fanns bekymmer med byggkvaliteten och problem med ett glapp i växelpaddlarna, något som mången simracingfanatiker sörjde då ratten var och förblir urläcker rent visuellt och extremt bekväm rent ergonomiskt. Nu är Fanatec tillbaka, turligt nog. Med en en helt ny version av samma ratt som de för enkelhetens skull valt att döpa till V2. En mer vridstyv kropp, bättre knappar och magnetiska paddlar hör till nyheterna och här på Gamereactor avser vi såklart att recensera den senare idag. Nedan hittar du våra unpack-bilder.

"Officially licensed by McLaren Automotive Limited, this is a full-size, detailed reproduction of the steering wheel used in McLaren GT3 race cars. The overall shape, as well as the size of the switches, paddles, and dials is based on original McLaren CAD data. The CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 V2 is a refinement of the original, with redesigned electronics for improved performance and durability.The fourth rotary encoder of the real GT3 wheel is replaced by a white, 1" OLED display. Attach this wheel to any compatible FANATEC wheel base and the whole system (including attached peripherals such as shifters, pedals, or handbrake) will work on Xbox One® and Xbox Series X|S."

• Magnetic shifters, longer throw
• Improved analogue paddles (better mechanically, new honeycomb structure for strength)
• Multi-position switches are now like Formula V2 (can endlessly rotate), have encoder mode which is more universally compatible with games
• New Simplified QRA
• White OLED Display
