För några månader sedan så avslöjades det att Vin Diesel var under diskussion för att spela huvudrollen i Sonys kommande film med seriehjälten Bloodshot (från Valiant Comics). Och nu är det officiellt bekräftat att Vin Diesel har skrivit på för rollen som Bloodshot. Filmen kommer att regisseras av Dave Wilson (arbetspartner med Deadpool-regissören Tim Miller) och är under planering för att börja spelas in runt juli redan i år.
Deadline Hollywood skriver följande:
"Bloodshot has powers of regeneration, technomancy and meta-morphing, which was made possible through nanites that were injected into his blood. The film is being written by Eric Heisserer (Arrival) and the studio is looking to develop it as an R-rated film that is being likened to Robocop, Terminator, and Total Recall. It's said to have that classic 1980s tone. The studio is extremely excited about this movie and they are moving quickly on it. In fact, that plan to start shooting it in July. The movie is being produced by Neal H. Moritz, who produced the Fast and Furious films, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that Diesel ended up being cast in the film."
