Sony-bossen Shuhei Yoshida menar att Project Morpheus kommer att spela en stor roll i framtiden för Playstation 4 enligt VRFocus:
"It's a big part of the future of PS4 or, on the other hand, PS4 could be a big part of the future of Project Morpheus. When you talk about VR the possibilities are infinite. We are so excited about working on Project Morpheus because the shift from playing games and watching the TV screen and the game world inside the screen to you going into the game world, it's a huge change"
Avslutningsvis menar Yoshida att han inte enbart ser Project Morpheus som en spelplattform utan att han tror på flera olika upplevelser:
"So we will start focusing on making games for Project Morpheus because it requires PS4 to use it and PS4 users are very dedicated gamers but in the future Project Morpheus can expand into lots of different types of experience as well"
