Resan har varit lång för den nu 64 år gamla Kevin Spacey och efter att för snart sex år sedan blivit anklagad för sexuella övergrepp föll karriären i bitar får skådespelaren. Men idag kan han alltså andas ut, och en känslosam Spacey mötte pressen utanför domstolen i London efter att juryn friat honom.
"I imagine that many of you can understand that there's a lot for me to process after what has just happened today. But I would like to say that I am enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts carefully before they reached the decision"

Huruvida Spacey nu kommer att återuppta sin karriär eller inte återstår att se. Högst sannolikt kommer skådespelaren att ligga lågt och ta sig tid att absorbera och bearbeta allt som skett.
