Trots att det var ett väldigt bra och ursnyggt spel baserat på en populär licens, så ville det sig inte riktigt kommersiellt för Massive Entertainments och Ubisofts titel Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Lyckligtvis betyder det inte att spelet glömts bort, och nu meddelas att det är riktigt intressant DLC på gång i form av expansionen From the Ashes - vilken såklart hämtar inspiration från den kommande filmen Avatar: Fire and Ash. Expansionen har premiär samtidigt som filmen (den 19 december) och dess officiella synopsis lyder:
"From the Ashes takes place shortly after the events of the main game and takes you on the journey of So'lek, a battle-hardened Na'vi warrior from the Trr'ong clan. Ambushed and left for dead by the RDA and their new allies, the ruthless Ash clan, So'lek awakens to a world in flames and his Sarentu family scattered. Driven by grief and vengeance, he sets out to reunite with and protect his loved ones."
Detta är den tredje expansionen till spelet - efter The Sky Breaker och Secrets of The Spires - och kommer kosta en slant. Någon prislapp finns ännu inte, men den ska säljas både separat (för alla som redan har Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora) och som en bundle tillsammans med grundspelet.
