The Chinese Room, studion bakom kommande Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, utvecklar Everybody's Gone to the Rapture även till Playstation 4 också, förutom PC. Detta enligt Sonys pressvisning på Gamescom där spelet visades upp i trailerform med postapokalyptiska miljöer. Man förklarade också ordagrant att spelet börjar med "the end of the world".
