Ifall du lider av arachnofobi så kommer Joe Chiens nya monsterfilm om en massiv djuphavsspindel vara något du definitivt vill hålla dig långt borta från, men för oss andra så innebär det lite gött höst-mys att se fram emot när Abyssal Spider landar anländer i september. Filmens trailer är förvånansvärt lovande med gott om stämning och vi kan bara hålla tummarna för att filmen får en bred release och inte bara stannar i Kina. "Rescue member Ajie (played by Wang Yangming) and his companions rescued a reef tanker in the storm, but met the captain who was stubborn and unwilling to give up. At the same time, a dark shadow haunted the deep sea and dragged everyone into the sea. The surviving Ajie from then on, bearing the shadow of the death of colleagues, became decadent and disheartened.
"Many years later, Ajie overcomes the shadow and boarded the fishing boat again, but he was constantly provoked by crew member Atai (played by Zheng Renshuo), deputy captain Ading (played by Li Liren) and others. För oss med kärlek till creature-feature filmer är Abyssal Spider helt klart något som är värt att hålla under uppsikt och där finns goda förhoppningar att den även släpps på internationella marknaden baserat på det positiva media-surr som trailern och postern genererat.
