Visst finns det fortfarande ett antal skeptiker som ställer sig frågande till om Wii U verkligen kommer bli något vidare, om det blir den knäckande maskin som Nintendo verkligen vill. Dessutom frågar sig många spelare om det är en konsol som tilltalar det som vi med kärlek lärt oss kalla "hardcore-gamern".
Nu har ett tungt namn i sammanhanget ställt sig bakom, eller åtminstone strax bredvid, Nintendos kommande konsol. Det är nämligen ingen mindre än Cliff "Cliffy B" Bleszinski som menar att Wii U kan bli något att se upp med. Cliffy hade följande att säga i en frågestund hos Reddit:
"Being raised on All Things Nintendo I will always I love all things Nintendo.
I'll be watching the Wii U closely. I think Nintendo may have initially lost a little of their core with the Wii for a bit, honestly, and they seem to have realized this. I believe they also recognize that we live in a "multi-screen" culture hence the controller design. I played ZombiU at PAX and it was promising (even though the controls could use a little loving!) so we'll have to wait and see.
I sometimes wonder if we'll find ourselves in a PC/Phone/Tablet future, honestly."
