För några månader sedan rapporterade vi att online-spelet Just Survive (H1Z1) läggs ned, och nu visar det sig att utvecklaren Daybreak Game Company har fått problem med ekonomin. Via Twitter avslöjar nu förra studiochefen John Smedley att närmare en tredjedel av de anställda fått sparken.
Daybreak-ledningen har även bekräftat detta till Games Industry och skriver:
"We are optimizing our structure to ensure we best position ourselves for continued success in the years to come. This effort has required us to make some changes within the organization and we are doing everything we can to support those impacted in this difficult time. As we look to improve efficiencies and realign resources, we remain focused on supporting our existing games and development of our future titles."
Det är såklart alltid tråkigt att bli av med sitt jobb och vi hoppas att de anställda hittar nya gig så fort det någonsin går.
