Techland har meddelat att deras zombiespel Dying Light nu har nått 4,5 miljoner "unika spelare". De var rätt noggranna med att inte säga att de har sålt 4,5 miljoner kopior av spelet, då begagnatförsäljning också bidrar till antalet användare. Techlands VD Pawel Marchewka hade det här att säga om spelets framgångar:
"Sales [we] count later--we need time to calculate the sales and returns and so on. Unique users means all the unique users we calculated on the server playing the game for significant number of time. Sales might be slightly less because that includes also secondary sales."
Marchewka avslöjade även att utvecklaren inte bara har planer på nya expansioner till Dying Light, men har också börjat fundera på Dying Light 2.
"Obviously, we're also thinking about how to think about the sequel, what should happen there. So a lot of talk going on right now."
