Funcom meddelar att de inlett ett samarbete med Legendary Entertainment samt Herbert Properties för att utveckla spel baserade på Dune-universumet (skapat av Frank Herbert). Denis Villeneuve jobbar just nu på en film baserad på just Dune där bland annat Jason Momoa och Javier Bardem medverkar. Spelen är tänkta att fortsätta denna nya Dune-våg och utvecklingen startar hos Funcom i Oslo senare i år. Högste chefen Rui Casais kommenterar:
