Marvels högsta höns Ike Perlmutter har fått kicken, bekräftar nyinsatte (gamle) VD:n för Disney Bob Iger. I ett försök att nu styra upp företaget, spara 60 miljarder kronor under 2023 har man bland annat kickat 7000 anställda, gett VFX-chefen Victoria Alonso sparken samt gjort sig av med storchefen för hela Marvel Entertainment. Denna hela avdelning slungas nu in under Marvel Studios som styrs av Kevin Feige och vi kan tänka oss att Feige jublar idag då Perlmutter och han varit i luven på varandra tidigare. Vid ett tillfälle ville Perlmutter få Feige sparkad vilket ledde till en offentlig dispyt, bland annat.
