Nästa spel i Mass Effect-serien kommer att låna mycket av vad Bioware Montreals studio director Yanick Roy kallar för "core systems", från Dragon Age: Inquisition. I en diskussion med fans på Twitter fick Roy frågan om vi behöver vänta länge på nästa Mass Effect och svaret blev då:
"Don't worry: we have a large and talented team, we started a while ago, and we are 'borrowing' a lot of game systems from DA3."
Och Yanick Roy lägger till följande:
"Yes, since we share engine, we can start from some of DA3's core systems instead of from scratch."
