Rainbow Six: Siege X har utannonserats

Många har undrat när Rainbow Six Siege ska få en uppföljare men Ubisoft har sagt att de inte haft några planer på en direkt tvåa. Nu har man dock under Six Invitational 2025 utannonserat Rainbow Six: Siege X som man heller inte kallar för en direkt uppföljare men något mer än enbart en uppdatering.

Spelets producent Joshua Mills säger följande: "It is not Siege 2, and it's not just another update. It's a major evolution. We're expanding and reinforcing the very foundation of Siege to ensure it remaisn the pinnacle of tactical PvP first-person shooters."

Det pratas om en rejäl grafisk och ljudmässig uppdatering, bland annat. Men det är först om dryga en månad vi får se vad det på allvar betyder. Den 13 mars håller man nämligen en Showcase dedikerad för den kommande framtiden av spelet och vad detta nästa steg betyder.

"A new era of Rainbow Six Siege will be revealed on March 13 at the Siege X Showcase. A teaser shown during the championship weekend of the Six Invitational offered glimpses of the biggest transformation in the game's history, including graphical and audio upgrades, deepened tactical gameplay, and new ways to play the game.
