Sony har tagit patent på en robotkompis

Att större företag tar patent på de mest märkliga produkter, är inget nytt. Ofta finns idéer man helt enkelt inte vill att andra ska stjäla, snarare än att det faktiskt är något man ämnar använda. Detta inkluderar såklart även Sony, som nu uppmärksammats för sitt patent på en robotvän.

Sonys robot ska hålla dig sällskap och motivera dig, samt ska kunna läsa av dig för att svara på ett bra sätt på dina handlingar. I patentet kan vi läsa:

"The inventor focused on the possibility of utilizing a robot as a joint viewing player who experiences sympathy with a user. For example, it is expected that the user's affinity with the robot is increased and motivation for playing a game is enhanced by the robot viewing the gameplay next to the user and being pleased or sad together with the user."
